Developing and celebrating female leaders in times of change.

Bravely Leading - Empowering Women Leaders

Date: September 6, 2024
Location: Marathon Center for the Performing Arts, Findlay, OH

Welcome, courageous women leaders, to the second annual Women's Leadership Conference on Bravery in the Workplace!
In a rapidly evolving world where gender barriers are being shattered and women are raising their voices, the need to cultivate bravery in the workplace has never been more essential. Today, we gather here to celebrate the unparalleled impact of women in leadership roles, to empower one another, and to discover the untapped potential that lies within each and every one of us.

Welcome to a platform where inspiration meets action, where diverse perspectives merge to create powerful narratives of growth and success. Over the course of this transformative event, we will explore the myriad ways in which bravery manifests in our professional lives and how it shapes us as leaders. From overcoming self-doubt to advocating for gender equality, from embracing risk-taking to challenging the status quo – we aim to equip women with the tools and mindset necessary to thrive in the modern workplace.

This conference is a unique opportunity to engage with trailblazers who have defied societal norms, shattered glass ceilings, and paved the way for generations of aspiring women leaders. Together, we will explore the intersectionality of bravery, resiliency, and inclusive leadership, as we aim to create a future where women are not only heard but truly valued for their contributions.

Our distinguished speakers will share their personal stories, reflections, and tangible strategies on navigating the complex landscape of the 21st-century workplace. Through interactive workshops, dynamic panel discussions, and engaging networking opportunities, you will have the chance to connect with like-minded individuals, forge invaluable connections, and embark on an empowering journey of self-discovery.

In a world where bravery is often equated with recklessness, we challenge the status quo and redefine what it means to be courageous in the workplace. Here, bravery is not just a trait reserved for the audacious few; it is an attribute we all possess, waiting to be nurtured and harnessed to propel us towards our fullest potential.

So, if you're ready to embrace your innate bravery, step into your power, and redefine leadership on your own terms, this Women's Leadership Conference on Bravely Leading in the workplace is designed for you.

Prepare to be inspired, supported, and transformed as we forge ahead on this extraordinary journey together.

Meet Our Co-Founders…

Kirby Overton

Dean, College of Business - University of Findlay

Kirby was interested co-creating the Bravely Leading Conference because she wanted to help build an environment for networking, learning, and fellowship for women of all backgrounds. This conference fosters a safe space for women to learn and grow. The topics covered are often questions that are asked, but there is rarely an opportunity to take a deep dive into these topics and that’s what makes it unique. We wanted to create a space where there is something for everyone regardless of the stage of life, they’re in.

Kaylee Schleucher

Chief Operating Officer - Reineke & Roush Financial Planning Group

Happiness takes bravery! Kaylee recently took a leap into a new industry, unsure if that was ultimately a good choice. That bravery worked in her benefit, finding a cultural and team fit unlike anything she has experienced before. Kaylee gets to go into work every day to help improve processes, but most importantly, develop future leaders and provide our clients and people in our community with a stronger financial future. This drive to better herself and those around her, sparked her passion for co-founding Bravely Leading.

Chloe Crowther

Associate Director - Marathon Center for the Performing Arts

Chloe considers herself to be a lifelong learner. She is always looking for new ways to expand and deepen her knowledge of the world around her, both personally and professionally. While there are plenty of opportunities for growth if you look for them, she found that truly honest and in-depth subjects about the non-male professional experience were hard to come by. Working with her friends and colleagues on this inaugural conference has been an exceptional experience, and she hopes it brings people together to learn, socialize, and take a step toward bravery.
